"Night at the Museum: Author’s Evening" Welcomes Naples Author, Karna Bodman

On Wednesday, November 11th at 6:30 pm, enter the realm of political intrigue when former White House insider and author, Karna Bodman shares insights and her latest thriller, ‘Final Finesse’ during the third installment of the 2009-2010 Author’s Evening Series. Hosted at the Southwest Florida Museum of History, an Author’s Evening highlights authors from a variety of genres September thru April annually. In addition to a presentation by the featured author and a meet-and-greet book signing, the evening also includes dessert courtesy of Mason’s Bakery and admission to the Museum.

The cost is only a $10 per-person donation (tax-deductible) to the SWFL Museum of History Foundation, and all funds raised support special exhibitions and educational programming. The Fall series (Sept. – Dec.) meets 6:30-8:00 pm while the Spring series (Jan. – Apr.) sessions will be 6:00-7:30 pm. Naples-based author Karna Bodman takes guests into a shadowy world in ‘Final Finesse.’ Follow Samantha Reid, White House Deputy Director for Homeland Security, as she teams up with Tripp Adams, VP of GeoGlobal Oil & Gas to investigate the sabotage of natural gas pipelines in America’s heartland. Working side by side, they try to solve the mystery of the explosions and the motives of the mercurial group causing all the havoc.

Written from an insider’s perspective, Bodman’s knowledge is the inspiration behind her political thrillers, first ‘Checkmate’ and ‘Gambit,’ and now ‘Final Finesse.’ At the time she left her position as Senior Director of the National Security Council, Karna Small Bodman was the highest ranking woman in the Reagan White House.
