The Southwest Florida Museum of History announces a special guest author for this summer making a one-day appearance! Join us on Tuesday, June 23rd at 6 pm as author and former Edison & Ford Winter Estates curator, Michele Wehrwein Albion presents her new book, The Florida Life of Thomas Edison. Albion will discuss her enjoyable account of our area’s most famous winter resident from an insider’s view and the process of learning more about this fascinating inventor.

Drawing from a wide range of resources, including photographs, manuscripts, maps, and newspaper accounts, Michele Albion explores a significant facet of Edison’s life that is largely unknown. She now lives in Dover, New Hampshire.
