The Museum offers a Walking tour of Historic Downtown every Wednesday and Saturday morning January 4 through April 18 beginning at 10 am. Frequently, guests opt to reserve a Walking Tour, then have lunch at the Oasis Restaurant across the street (you can leave the car parked at the Museum!) or in down town, then return to the Museum with a discounted ticket to explore the exhibits, displays, 1929 Pullman rail car, Cracker House and our newest traveling exhibit all for one great group rate price!

Walking Tours are offered on Wednesday AND Saturday mornings ONLY at 10 am and MUST be reserved due to limited space. They leave from the Museum and the fee for a Walking Tour is $10 pp. The Walking Tour is a leisurely, 1 ½ guided stroll through historic Downtown Fort Myers highlighting the history of the buildings, people and stories. Groups are limited to 20 so please reserve early as these almost always sell out!

The spectacular black-and-white portraits Clyde is so famous for tell their own story in this never-before-seen exhibit Clyde has created especially for the Museum! Clyde takes guests on a step-by-step journey through the process of his work’s conception and creation via photo panels and text. Experience the process of this world-renowned artist.

Discover - Treasure! The Exhibition JAN 14th - MAY 20th
For centuries, mankind has been drawn by the lure and promise of treasure. Some have been successful and many have not. What about treasure calls to people? Explore that idea and more in this spectacular exhibition with seven thematic areas, including underwater treasure, treasures in the attic, buried treasure, gold rushes, protecting treasure, treasure in popular culture, and the modern treasure hunt. Dozens of hands-on activities allow the visitor to try tools of the treasure hunting trade and investigate treasures. Special exhibit features include actual artifacts from shipwrecks and other treasure sites.
