The Museum offers a Walking tour of Historic Downtown every Wednesday and Saturday morning January through April beginning at 10 am. (RESERVATIONS REQUIRED – call (239) 321-7430)  Frequently, guests will choose to participate in the morning Guided Downtown Walking Tour, then leave their car parked for free at the museum and enjoy a leisurely lunch right across the street at either the Oasis Restaurant or one of the other nearby downtown restaurants, after which they return to the Museum with a discounted admission to explore the exhibits, displays, 1929 Pullman rail car, Cracker House and our newest traveling exhibit all for one great group rate price!

The Southwest Florida Museum of History Museum Group Admission Rate is $7.50* pp (discounted from the general admission price of $9.50*) for a guided Museum tour (guided tours MUST be pre-scheduled).

GUIDED WALKING TOURS OF THE HISTORIC DOWNTOWN RIVER DISTRICT (January – April)

Guided Walking Tours of the historic downtown river district are offered on Wednesday and Saturday mornings at 10am and MUST be reserved due to limited space. The tour leaves from the Museum and the cost is just $12* pp. The Historic Downtown Walking Tour is a leisurely, 90 minute guided stroll through historic Downtown Fort Myers highlighting the history of the buildings, people and stories. Groups are limited to 20 so please reserve early as these almost always sell out!
