The Southwest Florida Museum of History is proud to exhibit renowned photographer Clyde Butcher! Clyde Butcher will debut at the museum August 14 - October 31 with a new exhibit, "Visions of Florida - A Clyde Butcher Retrospective." Award-winning black and white fine art photographer Clyde Butcher will display his iconic landscapes in a special exhibition ONLY at the Southwest Florida Museum of History.
A confluence of vibrant colors, strong emotions and lifelong experiences converge onto canvas during the 2nd annual ‘Art Expressions of Latin America’ Art Exhibit opening November 7th at the Southwest Florida Museum of History in downtown Fort Myers.
On December 10 join us as we welcome Southwest Florida resident, Anatole Kurdsjuk as he discusses his poignant Holocaust non-fiction memoir, The Long Walk Home with Miracles Along the Way.
The premier of Art Walk downtown Fort Myers is Oct 3rd,2008 from 6-10 PM. Art Walk will be held on the 1st Friday of every month, year round.
The event is held the 2nd Wednesday of each month beginning in September (EXCEPT November) at the museum when the museum hosts an author from a variety of genres from 7-9 pm.
